I'M A FINANCIAL PLANNER
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®.
What that means is that I have satisfied the requirements set by the CFP Board. These requirements include completing coursework relevant to financial planning, passing the CFP Certification Exam, satisfying the 6,000-hour experience requirement, and agreeing to be bound by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct.

As a CFP® professional, I owe my clients fiduciary duties. You might think that all financial advisors owe fiduciary duties. Not so. Only a small fraction of advisors are subject to a fiduciary standard, and an even smaller fraction of those advisors are CFP® professionals.
I received a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University's School of Professional Studies, and completed the Amplified Planning Externship. I am also a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and the XY Planning Network.
I'M ALSO A LAWYER
I practiced for more than 12 years in the New York offices of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Paul Hastings LLP.
I was a general commercial litigator. I did securities, business disputes, bankruptcy, real estate, and a bunch of other things. I litigated in federal and state courts across the country, but many of my cases were in New York.
I also had an active pro bono immigration practice, representing clients from around the world in asylum and special immigrant juvenile status matters in immigration court, family court, and before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. While at Paul Hastings, I was the Pro Bono Advocate of the Year in 2019.
I received my B.A. from Yale University in 2007, where I majored in Ethics, Politics and Economics. In 2011, I received my J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. After law school, I clerked for the Honorable A. Joe Fish of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
I am also a member of the New York City Bar Association, where I was previously a member of the litigation committee.
